Apologies for the Pic-less Week
Hello Park Goers,
This weather we have had over the past few weekends has been quite fun for the pups, but deadly for the cameras. My attempt at walking through the park, keeping an eye on my dog, while holding an umbrella over the camera to protect it from the snow, failed miserably. Not surprisingly, dogs do not appreciate it when a stranger with an umbrella and a machine that goes click click approaches.

It seems that the snowman elves have been hard at work this past week.
Looks like some snowmen have done pretty well for themselves…
…but other not so much.

You bring up a good point for anyone who’s shopping for a new good guality camera… that is a mirrorless version or full fledged DSLR.
Seems that in the Canon line the mid range or higher have a weather sealed body but entry level may not have same.
eg.. the T4i vs the 60D.
This might be as important a consideration for ‘sports and action shooters’ as a good fast autofocus.
